In this installation, I have sought to create a resonance between my paintings, fragments of poetry, and excerpts from my personal diaries. My process follows a logic of collage, taking little bits of memories and putting them together.
It is a collection of everyday moments and objects that coexist without hierarchy: my beloved bike, the bad news drifting from the radio, the euphoria of a party, or the silence of a grave surrounded by shells. These images translate internal oscillations, shifting between moments of anxiety and a need for liberation.
Ultimately, the work is held together by an underlying rhythm, a mental soundtrack fueled by the lyrics of Magnetic Ensemble: “you dance like crazy, you dance alone.” This cadence dictates the placement of each element, turning the act of painting into a visceral, rhythmic response to the everyday.
